An Internet deposition is a deposition in which a videographer and a court reporter are synchronized during depositions. The video and audio signal is fed live through the Internet to a location other than where the deposition is currently taking place. In this manner, attorneys or experts at other locations can take part and use an Internet messaging system such as Speche, DepoStream, I-Dep, LiveNote, Remote Counsel, Trial Director, Scantion, or Visionary. This service allows these remote attendees to instant message the attorneys present at the deposition with questions of their own, or just observe the deposition to get a feel for the live testimony of that witness. It is necessary to schedule this service in advance. Orange Reporting electronically archives all depositions. If you have lost or destroyed a deposition, please contact our office and we can provide a replacement. We can provide you with E-Transcript files, video deposition footage, and scanned documents in a custom "bundle" that is stored within a "software-agnostic" viewing environment A Bundle is a cohesive presentation stored on a compact disc. Bundles can be made accessible from the Internet using our on-line repository. We also use an embedded Optical Character Recognition (OCR) Engine to index the exhibits. The index feature is exactly the same as the one we provide in the E-Transcripts, allowing you to search by keyword in exhibits as well as transcripts. With Publisher, Exhibits in the transcript are hyperlinked. For example, an attorney can click on a mention of Exhibit A in the transcript to immediately view that exhibit on-screen. The Publisher Bundle that we create is updated after each round of depositions. This allows our clients to always have an up-to-date, centrally-located CD or DVD of all transcripts and exhibits in the case. RealLegal® iBinder™ – 24/7 on-line access to your case via our on-line repository Our firm uses RealLegal iBinder Repository technology to instantly connect you with the transcripts and Publisher Bundles you've purchased. As an authorized user, you can login in to our secure, custom repository to find the materials you need and download them immediately. Our repository is a delivery alternative that bypasses any possible delays or difficulties related to sending files via email or on diskette. Same-day Rough ASCII – A rough draft of your proceedings at your fingertips Our court reporters are able to provide you with a rough draft of your transcript as soon as you need it. You don't have to bring your notebook computer to proceedings and hook up to the court reporter using realtime software.
