Certified Real-time Reporter (CRR) is a higher designation than a Registered Professional Reporter (RPR) and requires a more stringent testing program. Real-time reporters are capable of supplying instant text to the attorneys via computer hookups, such as you see on closed captioning television. The testimony text is almost simultaneous with the spoken word. Certified Realtime Reporters need to be requested when scheduling because their supply is in great demand. |
